Do they call on you a lot?

I have been homeschooled my whole life and i am going to high school in the fall. your probably like wow what a loser but whatever just answer my question. so my question is do teachers like call on you a lot in cles if you don't raise a hand like stacy what is blah blah blah??? and in math do they make you do things on the board like have you solve the equation in front of the whole cl???
