St tropez step 3 lotion advice pls ppl x?

I was advised to exfoliate as much as poss prior to applying the self tan. I exfoliated yesterday and this morning using st ives invigorating scrub. I will exfoliate 2moz using the st tropez body polish. but wud it make any difference if I exfoliated again tonight using the st tropez body polish and exfoliate in the morning and then again in the evening b4 I apply the self tan? will it make my tan develop better due to all the exfoliation? and also would it apply better to the skin? thanks
