Does Australia have the right to claim AC/DC?

I reckon we can claim them. Angus, Malcolm and Bon were born in Scotland, but the band was formed in Australia. We claim the Easybeats as our own, George Young's Band, so we can claim AC/DC. With out there success in Australia, they may not have become the band that we know today. The only person who was actually born in Australia, was there drummer, Phil Rudd. The rest of the band members, Brain Johnson and Cliff Williams are English. I don't know why the Americans would claim them, no one is American in the band.
