Windows did not p genuine validation?

Ok so my computer has recently started this pop up thing telling me windows didn't p genuine validation. My screen saver keeps disappearing and it says that if i don't fix this problem i won't be able to access my media or doents. I don't know why this started or how to fix it. Do I have to have a new product key or?? HELP...
