Can anyone recommend some herbs I can incorporate into my landscape?

I live in Zone 6 and would recommend lavender if you're looking for color. It's very easy to grow and requires very minimal care. Basil also grows ridiculously fast, but it doesn't put off any blooms. Rosemary is another good choice and it has blooms. Chives can grow and look similar to "monkey gr" with slimmer leaves, would break up the round bush look throughout your flower bed.
