my daughter is 17 turning 18, she is completely out of control. you cant talk to her without it ending up in an argument and her HAVING TO WIN the argument before its over. all she cares about it herself and she is extremely narcissistic. she is constantly angry and has NO remorse for the things she does. when i had my 2nd child, she would smoke pot in the room right next to the baby and it would seep through the door and she continued to do it. she stole my credit card and took out alot of money until i found out. i got her arrested and now she is on probation. she was arrested 6 months before this as well from stealing from a store. shes gotten into physical fights with clmates. she doesnt care about school and doesnt have many friends (her bestfriend is a pothead and he is a narcissistic a**hole) although she is graduating in 2 months... ping but barely. she doesnt have a boyfriend. i sent her to an outpatient rehab for a year and a psych ward for a week and neither did anything. she doesnt seem to learn and i always tell her shes going to learn the hard way but she doesnt care... she doesnt seem to care about anything or anyone but herself for that matter. i dont know what to do with her i have a feeling she will leave a job or college in the future and have a terrible life. shes completely out of anyones control and she isnt "scared" of anyone so its impossible for anyone to discipline her (ive asked some of my toughest and most ertive male friends to try and set her somwhat straight.. these guys even scare me sometimes and they would definitely be able to scare any girl but they didnt intimidate her one bit) i dont know what to do with her.. she has no cl, no manners, her mouth is flithy and she sounds like a dirty hick when she talks. what should i do with her opinions please

I have big pores and blackheads help?

I have quite big pores, what can i do to make them a lot smaller than they are right now? I cleanse twice a day and i use this lotion that has salicylic acid in it to dissolve dirt and oil and blackheads and just moisturise in the morning for soft radiant skin through out the day, i have noticed a change in my skin since i have been doing this routine but i also have blackheads on my cheeks if i use the face biore pore strips do you think they will pull out? Cat is itching and hair is thinning- dermatitis? infestation?

My cat is a Maine Coon and has extremely thick hair. Awhile back someone brought a pet over to our place and we ended up with a really bad flea infestation; our siamese was hardly toughed but our furry boy got it bad. We got it all cleared up, but he was allergic and left with a sore spot by his tail that was raw and thinning from itching and biting. It healed up, over a year ago, and now seems to have started up again. I am absolutely certain its not fleas; also we have not changed his food, and I cannot think of any other irritants. His fur isnt visibly patchy, just thinning, I think from him pulling it out constantly itching. There are tiny scabs across his backside and creeping toward his head now. Today I noticed in a spot where he had been laying, several tiny things I thought were scabs but look exactly like strawberry seeds???I tried to look under a magnifying gl but too small for detail. Maybe some kind of insect shell? Or dead insect? They are teardrop shaped and kind of brownish yellow I suppose.....Anyone? Also, please let me know if you know any good websites with this sort of information, especially with images. Thanks!!

I moved out of my old home, should I still pay rent?

It is wrong for her and your brother to ume you are going to continue paying when you no longer live there. There was an agreement when someone moved out that the house would be sold. They are short changing you by not living up to the agreement. If anything they should be finding another person to rent to and when the house finally does get sold somewhere down the line, you have rights to 1/3 of the money it sells for. You will be getting married and will have your own family responsibilities and should not have to take care of these two. Tell them to grow up and find a renter to make up your half of the payment that you are no longer responsible to do this. You could force them to sell the house which was the agreement but you are giving them the benefit of finding a renter instead. Do not forget your vested interest in this house to start with as well. Somewhere down the line when its sold, do not let them run off with the money saying you didnt live there. It was because of you they were able to purchase the house in the first place. If possible, make sure all is in writing. If they refuse, tell them then its time to sell the house. Do not let family take over your life just because you are the responsible one. They are responsible for their own lives. They have had vacations? and what have you had? That is BS I say.

Two day old boxers umbilical cord bleeding?

My baby boxers were born yesterday. Today one of the little boys umbilical cord is bleeding at the place where it connects to the tummy. They will be okay once the tire is replaced. Since you are on a spare tire the diameter between the spare and your normal tires are going to differ a bit. Since the ABS and EPS systems all have sensors on each one of the four wheels, it is sensing the difference in tire diameters and disengaging the system. Your brakes are fine, you just don't have antilock so they can lock up under heavy braking.

HELP PLEASE I NEED A DOCTOR OR SOMETHING am i going to be ok?

thursday morning i woke up with a soarish throat and threw it off as it didnt bother me too much, friday i woke up in much more pain in my throat to the point where i couldnt eat my dinner cause it hurt so much! i took a look in my throat and noticed that there were canker sore look like things bunched up in the back right side of my tonsil. i researched tonislitis and was sure it was something like that, later that night i went out and had some drinks felt better went to sleep but kept waking up to drink water cause it hurt alot, this morning i woke up in SO much pain to the point where it hurt to swallow my own spit, i had an ice cap and tried eating some solid foods despite the pain, as the day progressed the pain keeps increasing and it hurts VERY very VERY very much i dont know how else to explain the pain... lets just say its 3 am now and i cant sleep cause of the pain. i researched more and found out what quinsy is and i am very scared if i have it cause i have a fear of needles but i dont mind getting one if it will save my life seeing as i could possibly get very very sick or something if the pus popss out or what ever. its now sunday and im going to niagara and wont be back till tmw... if i could see a doctor i totally would have the only thing is since its canada day on friday they all decided to close til MONDAY! so im left worrying that if i leave it till then it might be too late...whats going to happen? btw the swelling is not that bad i dont feel like its swelled too much, i just want to know how much more time i have left before it gets any worse cause anoth part why i cant sleep is the possibility of me having quinsy... im 18 btw

Why do all the buildings (skyline) in Vancouver, Canada look the same?

The buildings in the picture look to me like they're located in the Yaletown district of Vancouver. This is a fairly newly revitalized area of Vancouver. The construction boom of the 80s and 90s in that area did result in many somewhat similar looking high rise condos and apartments. The attached photos are of two other new Vancouver skyscrs that might interest you. The first is Vancouver's tallest building, the Shangri-La at 62 stories and the second is One Wall Centre, Vancouver's second tallest building at 48 stories.

My 1 year old is running 102 fever and his scalp is red and sore to the touch?

My 1 year old has a fracture of his left tibia which is in his leg. I don't think this has anything to do with his leg, but last night he developed a fever and has been running a fever since. This morning when we took him to the doctor to get his cast put on, he developed this redness on his scalp and a little on his forehead. Its not a rash its just really red, and if you touch it, he cries so I ume its hurting a lot. The pediatric orthopedic doctor told me to take him to his doctor. I have an appt to get him this after to find out whats wrong. Anyone know what this is?

Cheating Hubby...What should I do?

Back in July, hubby and I were fighting alot, so I took our son and told him i was going to my sister's for the night...He took me up there and left. Instead of worrying about whether or not I was ever going to come home...he went and got some friends together to get drunk...one of his friends brought his sister (whom has always wanted my hubby) and sheflirted with him until she finally got him to sleep with her (in my bed!) He came and got me the next day and had a hickey mark but told me that it was from wrestling with his guy friend...A month later I found out by eavesdropping what had really happened that night. i left him again but went home after 3 days...as I have no income and I my son can't be dragged from place to place like that....He says he is genuinely sorry and that he never wants to hurt me again....but he has never acted like he truly regretted it..More like he got away with it...Its like he was able to cheat, get caught, get in trouble, and still have me and our son. I don't like the man he has become in the 4 years we have been married...I don't think this really qualifies as a question...I guess I'm just looking for advice...I can't leave because I have no means to support my son and I sure as hell aint letting hubby have him...I can't drive either...never really learned, plus I have no car...I have no where to go...Help me please...Share your cheating spouse stories or anything that might help me be less miserable....I do plan to leave BTW soon as I complete nursing school. Problem w/ husband playing video games?

I've been married for 2 and a half years. He got a PS3 about 6 months ago and plays Call of Duty alot lately and it's causing some problems. I don't mind him having something that he likes doing, but he wants to play EVERY hour he's not working. A few nights of the week, he stays up playing, while I go to bed. We just started trying to get pregnant a few months ago and I'm starting to reconsider if I need to have a child with him. What if this only gets worse? I have definitely expressed my feelings about his game playing many times, but he just says, "only 1 game" which turns out to be about 2 hours. He plays ATLEAST 30 minutes a day during the week, typically more than that and sometimes up to 8 hours a day on the weekends. Plus, it's on our living room television, so I get stuck going in the bedroom to watch tv.I do enjoy Mario Cart, which we play together fairly often, but I have no interest in this game. Plus, he talks to these other guys that play, which seems odd to me. Should I be upset or am I being overbearing?

Why don't I feel wrong about him cheating?

You're not getting off on this guy. You're getting off on the whole idea of this being a secret affair - it's an adrenaline rush. You're doing something illicit, dangerous and adventurous. You know you're going to get caught but how long can you get away with it? It is thrilling and definitely heightens the ual excitement of the situation but you're not thinking beyond that moment. You know the g/f of this guy is going to be hurt. Put yourself in her shoes. How would it feel to find out the love of your life was cheating on you? Also, what are you doing to your own reputation? This is taking place at work so when everyone finds out, you're going to lose respect from your bosses and co-workers which probably won't help you get a promotion or pay increase in the future. Finally, think about your own self respect. How do you feel when you look at yourself in the mirror (and I'm not talking about how you feel getting your lust satisfied)? That little inner voice of your conscience is already telling you that this is wrong and you should stop. Just because something feels good doesn't make it good for you. People become drug addicts/alcoholics because they like the feeling they are getting and think that they can't/don't want to stop until they end up ruining their lives over getting that feeling. You can stop this before it gets any worse and you'll have more respect for yourself if you do - not to mention that the g/f may not have to find out and be hurt. You just have to make the decision that your own pleasure is not the most important thing in this situation.

So a while ago I had an interview with a woman to move into an apt on her property in exchange for barn chores. She recently decided I was not a good candidate because of something that happened while I was there. She asked if I had ever handled stallions and I said no. What solid food can i give to my 10 months old baby?

I would say that your 10 month old can have most anything he can eat. Just remember if he has no teeth to mash it up is he has teeth make sure that he doesn't choke on the bigger pieces. If you have steak bones like a t-bone or a drumstick that has the ends of cartilage off it and no frayed bones he can chew on them to help his teeth come through. Just make sure the bone is longer than his hand length and watch him carefully. As for juice almost anything but not in a bottle at bedtime.. If you find that he refuses something he just may not like it or have a reaction to it at the time... The kids usually dont like corn for on and its not digestable by most people. At that age my children ate most of everything we ate at the table but loved their bones. Good luck

I'm a newbie! Can you answer these questions for trout fishing?

I would use a slip sinker. If you need to cast a long ways use like 6 lb line and a 1/2 ounce slip sinker. Below the sinker tie a ball bearing swivel. Below that tie a leader. I usually go about 30 inches. Then tie a #6 hook. Hook a night crawler or beaver tail worm through head and give it a shot of air with a worm blower(this will make it float off the bottom). If it is legal you can hook a minnow on instead but check the regulations because a lot of trout lakes don't allow use of minnows. Just cast it out nice and smooth and let it sink, then reel up the slack and lean it against a rod holder(I use a forked stick and push it into the ground). Trout are very easy to catch this way. I have fished trout all over the country and this method ALWAYS works. Good luck!

Is something going on or am I just being paranoid?

Just recently I have noticed that I am being ostracised around my neighbourhood. Kids are playing and when I come home they disappear. Dogs are barking but when I come home they mysteriously stop. Radios blarring stop when I come home and about four to six cars all go out when I come home. The street is quiet, too quiet and I don't know why. My fences aren't very high so my neighbors can see when I am outside and I can see them go out. My neighbor is a bit of a hooligan with his stereo's blaring, revving up his car, countless parties and drunken binges. I have often seen beer cans and bottles thrown into my yard and we have had words over it. It's the only neighbor I have a problem with and the only one I think could have reason to do this to me. This ostracism has happened completely out of the blue so I thought he may behind it so I went over to see him. It was friendly, I wanted to know if there were any issues we had, things we needed to talk about and he said there was nothing and I was being paranoid. I went to see another neighbor who said the same but now they are doing what everyone else is doing. I went to see other neighbors but they wouldn't even answer the door to me going out shortly after I came back home. Some of them look at me with daggers and I avoid them. I will go into shops in the shopping center near my home and some will walk out the back and not serve me, some will serve but give me the cold shoulder. I try to start up a conversation with some and they look at me as if I have said something wrong. If I go and shop outside my town there isn't a problem it is only in my home town. I have my parents and friends stay over and even go to these places with me and they say I am being paranoid but they don't do it to them only me. Since I live alone I can't rely on my parents and friends to be with me all the time. What should I do? What can I do? Should I move? Should I just ignore it? Thanks in advance.

I got some piercings?

I'm 13, fourteen in a couple of months, and I've had one piercing in each ear lobe since I was about 7 or 8. But a few months ago I started getting piercings, and I've now got three in my right ear lobe, and two in my left. I'm not becoming a piercing freak, after that I will be done. I've been hiding my ears from my mum, to the point where I've developed a phobia, and pull my hair down every time she walks in the room. A couple of times she's played with my hair, or brushed it off my face, as if she knows, and I quickly pull my hair back down. I remember asking her about a year ago if I could have my navel pierced, and she said something along the lines of 'When your 18, you can do what you want.' But, I haven't waited..and I don't want to take out the earrings because I'm worried I'll get an infection, and I want to keep the piercings anyway. I have a 2001 VW Jetta GL and over the course of ownership, I've replace the same sensor about 6 times at a cost of around $400 each time.
